Dynamic Fitness & Strength is excited to add two new territory managers to its national sales staff.
Steve Gortmaker will cover the southeast U.S. market of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi. Steve has a long history in the strength and conditioning field, including a 20-plus year career coaching at Oklahoma, Florida State, Oregon, South Carolina, South Florida, Southern Miss, Tennessee, Kansas and Western Kentucky. He is a certified master strength and conditioning coach and has coached 95 players drafted into the NFL as well as multiple Olympians. During his career, his teams were also part of 13 bowl games.
Kevin Mattocks will manage the east coast territories of D.C., Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Kevin has over 23 years in the fitness and wellness industry. He studied exercise science at North Carolina Central and Carson-Newman universities. He was athletic director at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wake County before opening his own fitness centers—XL Fitness and Wellness Centers—which had three locations. After the sale of that business, he transitioned to nutrition and equipment sales, becoming director of sales at Carolina Fitness Equipment in Charlotte, NC.
“The fact that we continue to attract such respected and renowned people from both the coaching and sales sectors of strength and conditioning is the best indicator that Dynamic Fitness & Strength is producing some of the best equipment on the market, and serving our schools and training centers like no other,” said Vice President of Sales Craig Sowers.
Dynamic currently boasts a staff that includes over 160 years of coaching experience at the professional, collegiate and high school levels in addition to an ownership and production team with a long history of manufacturing excellence and success.
